KNOW YOUR DEPARTMENT/COLLEGE RIGHT HERE!!! @ R.MAP

A seat matrix tells you how many residents a department takes. It doesn’t tell you how many patients you’ll see, how much you’ll do with your own hands, or how you’ll be treated. Residents who trained there can.

PG departments across India, with NMC’s 2026–27 seat matrix.

Find a department or college

Pick a college, a branch, or both. Each opens a page listing everything that matches.

How reviews work

Each review is a short survey filled in by a resident or recent graduate of that department. Fourteen specialties, from Anaesthesiology to Radio-Diagnosis, have their own questions written for that training. The answers roll up into a department report you can read like an investigation sheet: grouped panels, one row per measure, with the scale beside each result.

  • Anonymous by default. Your college and branch come from the page you’re on.
  • Every submission is moderated before it appears.
  • Nothing is pre-filled. A department with no reviews shows no scores.

Seat counts are NMC’s totals for each course; the number available in each quota and category will be lower. Your list is saved only in this browser.
